据活动组织方介绍，“酱油春晚”是由湖南群英会网等网站发起，网友自发组织的线下活动。酱油，是2008年热门网络语言�！肮匚夷袷�，我是出来打酱油的”。这句话是广东电视台就“艳照门”事件采访一路人说的，之后成为热门网络新名词。其中的意义更明确，代表了很多现代人内心强热关注，外表却假装冷漠的行为。
